Denture Stabilisation in Staplehurst, Kent

We place a small number of implants — commonly two in the lower jaw, four in the upper — into the jawbone. Once integrated, attachments are fitted to the implants and matching housings are built into your denture, so it clips securely into place and you remove it for cleaning as normal.

In many cases your existing denture can be adapted rather than replaced, provided it fits and looks the way you want. Where a new denture is the better option, we make it to suit the stabilised design from the outset.

You take it out at night and to clean, brushing both the denture and the implant attachments carefully — we show you exactly how. The rubber or metal retention parts wear gradually and are simply replaced during routine reviews. Most patients need a check every six to twelve months at our Staplehurst practice.
